WHO WE ARE

CBL Worldwide, Inc., also known as the Community Basketball Leagues (CBL): We are a national professional basketball company that caters to the amateur-based youth and adult basketball market. We have not reinvented the game of basketball, but we have reinvented and enhanced the way the amateur basketball market, communities, and businesses will experience leagues, tournaments, and services.  

The CBL has created an interactive basketball platform that will be integrated into our company’s social network website. Where ever there is a CBL operation, there will be a focus on community service and improving local small businesses’ bottom line.  The CBL also has ten different types of basketball leagues and tournaments that will service youth from age 2 to 16 and adults ages 17 and up. Our mantra is; basketball in every community, for everybody.

The CBL is a home-based business that plans to relocate our management team to a flex corporate office building after the second round (angel investor round) of funding is complete.  Currently, we operate out of rented sports/basketball facilities where participants, fans, and sponsors can get real professional styled league and tournament game experiences that syncs-up with our website and our social network platform.  

WHY WE ARE CROWDSOURCE FUNDRAISING

Much to our delight, the last three years in business have been a success! We were fortunate to be featured in national publications such as Yahoo Finance, MSNBC, CBS Money Watch, Reuters Business, Mom Teams, Banks.com, Business Insider, and several newspapers such as the Elkhart Truth, The Denver Post, The Cincinnatti Enquirer, Salt Lake City Tribune… so we can't help but believe we are on the brink of something great. We just need some financial support to keep up with this positive momentum. The requested funds would not only help us afford equipment, IT administration, and the marketing and promotions of our business, it will also enable us to show our angel investors that our business will work in other cities and that we are ready to expand across the country. And if we are able to do that, then we would be able to secure a $2.5 to $4.5 million dollar investment. That’s how we turn your $25.00 or more support into $2.5+ million dollar investment!

The $25,000.00 will be just enough to get all points of our business ready to show the angel investors… I've already invested all of my personal savings (and then some...) so I decided to give Rockethub.com a try. If we happen to receive more than 100% (fingers crossed!), anything extra will go toward doing another demonstration in other cities - starting with cities in Indiana and Arizona…

I have personally funded several companies over the past year using the crowdsourcing platform, the most recent being the Man-Child feature film that raised over $125,000 and I’m so glad that I did. It really made me feel good and I know funding our project (or others) will do the same for you. Wouldn’t you love to be able to say, “I helped fund the CBL's national expansion!” years from now when we are in every city across the United States? I hope so…

The immediate embrace of this business makes me believe that players are craving a new recreational/amateur-based basketball experience, communities are always supportive of its sports teams and programs, and small businesses are always in need of cost-effective ways to market and promote their products and services. This is what the CBL does and will do…

Seeing players grow as individuals in our life skills program, and watching them as they have a great time playing while their family and friends watch them makes my staff and I feel like we are doing our part to make others better. And to me, THAT is success!

The total amount of money that we can and would like to raise with our rewards is $275,000+, but our goal is only $25,000. Please know that this is an "ALL or NOTHING" program so we at least need to hit the minimum goal amount OR we get no support and your rocket fuel will be returned to the donors. The more moeny that we raise over the goal amount, the more we will be able to do! so please help us hit the $275,000.00+ mark.
