Banks Nelson here. For the last couple of years, I’ve been working as a sideman and session player in the Nashville area. I’m grateful to have the work, but my own music has taken a bit of a backseat, you see. So, it’s time to go for broke with RocketHub.com to launch my first solo record!
The new full-length record centers on comforting people who have been beat up by bad relationships or even by themselves – it’s an effort to show mercy to people in our sometimes unkind world. “Lonely Side of Right” (attached on this page) will be one of the new tunes I record in the studio, and it’s a good example of the overall vibe of the record. Give it a spin!
Here’s how all this works: In order to make this project fly, I need to raise $5,000 by the end of my ninety-day campaign. When you fuel the project, you get lots of cool rewards like CDs, stickers, and other fun mementos and experiences.
If the project flies (that is, if it’s fully fueled), everybody wins! I launch my debut solo record, and you get cool stuff. If it doesn’t fund, your RocketFuel is credited back to you (you get your money back), and I run home with my tail between my legs. $5,000 might seem ambitious, but I think with your help I can make my dream record happen.
