when last we flew: MAKE IT FLY!

After stealing his library's only copy of Angels in America, misfit teenager Paul begins reading and finds that his dull Midwestern life is about to take flight. Developed at Lincoln Center, New York Theatre Workshop, and the Sundance Theater Institute, when last we flew is a moving and humorous look at life in small town America.

This August, playwright Harrison David Rivers' reflection on family, love, sexuality, race and personal revelation will soar into The Lucille Lortel Theater for The New York International Fringe Festival, which, with 200 shows playing in more than 20 different venues all over NYC, is the largest multi-arts festival in North America.

Dear all potential fuelers,

To state the obvious, it's not easy (or cheap) to put on a show. Normally, we'd be waiting around for someone with deep pockets to come along and help make it happen. But we're done waiting. We want LOTS of investors and MANY producers behind us supporting when last we flew.

By helping us "fuel" this project, you'll be on the ground floor of the production, before we even have a cast in place, getting a behind-the-scenes look at how the creative process really goes down. Meet the cast, chat with the playwright, come to rehearsals and presentations, join us at parties, and be a part of bringing an exciting new American play to life.

If you never thought you'd have enough money to produce anything, now's your chance. If you ever watched a friend devote months of his/her life to high school theater and wondered, "Is that really as fun as they're making it out to be?", now YOU can find out. And if you're just donating because your friend asked you to, that's cool, too!

Remember, RocketHub is an all-or-nothing operation. If we don't reach our goal by deadline, you get your money back and we're back to square one, so recruit your friends, enemies and people off the street to help us get this project off the ground. GO. NOW. DO IT!

See you at the theater!
