I have read the reviews. I won’t repeat what has been covered well by other reviewers. I will add that flowmattic is indeed changing the way we think of automation.

I recently found Flowmattic and i am just loving all the possibilities it brings. I’ve been a wordpress user for a long time, so i really like that i have the tool inside my wordpress installation.
But after testing it and seeing examples in the Flowmattic community, i realized it’s much more than just a wordpress plugin. Yes, you need one to set it up on a WP, but once set up, the automations can be done with other tools, so you don’t need to be restricted by your wordpress needs.

As I have already found out in Facebook groups, many people ask “Why spend so much on FlowMattic when I have another similar tool for 49?”
This is due to lack of knowledge about FlowMattic.
But all you need to do is run the demo page on the developer’s website to understand that FlowMattic is a completely different league.
This is not an ordinary application’s connector, but a very advanced tool for which the only limitation is the knowledge of the plugin, at least basic knowledge related to the API (if you need very advanced things) and imagination.
Plus, I love how lightweight the plugin is, built from the ground up with the user’s system performance in mind.
The plugin file is only 500kb and the most advanced modules are already enabled by default. You can run the individual integrations only when you need them.
I don’t know of any other plugin that handles performance issues in such a professional way.

I own and use multiple SaaS Workflow Automatization tools include very well known ones like Pabbly, Albato and Robomotion. All of these are great tools and have their own strong and weak areas. Having seen the crazy prices of Zapier and others with caps on tasks, FlowMattic caught my eye. I tried my best to answer most of these questions. Let me answer them here as well for you –
1. The plugin does not load anything on the frontend, so does not affect the site speed, the additional load only happens when the workflow is being executed, and if the workflow has only a few actions, it does not took much resources as well. Besides that, the plugin works in a standby mode, waiting for WordPress to fire the action hooks for plugins that are used for triggers, and for webhooks, it depend on the URL structure, so it triggers only if the correct webhook URL is called.

3. We don’t have any such implementation that costs us or we charge our users for, except the email parser, as it needs a VPS to run smoothly, and we don’t charge anything on top of the plugin price for using everything in the plugin.

It was not updated for the last few months, as we’re working on making the core plugin as strong as possible, so we can move with the integrations. Since we are now done with the big core updates, we will be fully working on the new integrations for the next couple of months.

Since the integrations are off-loaded to our server, you need to have an active license in order to receive the integration and FlowMattic updates. As long as you are subscribed to the yearly plan, you will keep getting the updates for everything.
Will the plugin send emails/notifications when a task fails or has an error?

Yes, if the workflow fails with an error, you get a notification with the details that includes the response from the failed step and the link to your workflow, so you can take a look and fix it if there’s anything wrong or re-execute that task from the task history.

Is it possible to fetch a value from a remote custom API and display it on the WordPress page without storing it to the database? You can think of it as real-time dynamic data but instead of ACF it’s fetched from a remote API. This is supposed to be a display-only value (Weather details for example) not linked to a specific post.
