A Little About Me
Hello! I have Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a form of Muscular Dystrophy, and have never walked. I drove when I was 19, a fully modified van, which I totaled after 3 months because the technology wasn't ready for someone with limited arm atrength like me to drive. Not to mention it cost almost $100,000. So I was practicing law (patent litigation) when I came across the Kenguru on the internet, about 7 years later. Of course, I immediately wanted to buy one. That is when I learned the company did not have funding to bring the Kenguru to market. I decided to do everything in my power to get a Kenguru, and to bring it to the millions of other wheelchair users whose lives would change from it. A year later, I quit my job and became the CEO of Community Cars. We have come A LONG WAY but still need your help!
