A Little About Me

Toronto native, Caitlin Griffin is a graduate of the Goh Ballet Academy and from programs at Boston Ballet School, Kaatsbaan Extreme Ballet in New York, Ballet British Columbia, and LADMMI in Montreal.  She has performed extensively in Canada, Thailand, and across China with various companies including MOVE: the company, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montreal, The Canadian Youth Ballet Company and David Atkins Enterprises (The 2010 Olympic Opening Ceremonies).

As a choreographer, highlights in Caitlin’s career have included the production of her works by MOVE: the company, Dances For a Small Stage, 12 Minutes Max, Suddenly Dance Theatre’s ROMP! Festival, Toronto’s Dance 2 Danse Festival and The Vancouver Biennial Open Air Museum.

As a teacher, Caitlin has loved working with British Columbia’s own Dr. Carla Cupido and Baseline Health in co-creating The Science of Dance Technique & Injury Prevention workshop.  Caitlin has been guest instructor and adjudicator across the lower mainland and for the Cecchetti Society of Canada.  Caitlin is proud to be sponsored by West Vancouver’s Baseline Health clinic.
