A Little About Me
I'm a microbiologist and bioluminescence enthusiast (some would say obsessive) and I head up the Bioluminescent Superbugs Group at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. We make bacteria that glow in the dark so we can better understand how to prevent and fight microbial infection.
When I'm not doing science, I'm either blogging about it, talking about it, or trying to make little videos about it:

- I’ve teamed up with the graphic artist Luke Harris and his team to make a couple of animations about how fireflies are being used in science.
