Can we switch allocated domains?
Let’s say that after allocating a domain for 6 months I sell it or otherwise discontinue the domain. Can I remove that domain and replace it with another?

Not for subdomains
Our domain uses various hostnames to separate our business supports.
For example, edu.domainx.com is for LMS and blog.domainx.com would be for blogs. The service specific urls are seem as subdomains and cannot be added.
The only message provided is “Failed to add website. Please try again.”Requested help from support and heard nothing for 2 days after the initial response.
When checked again was give the simple answer it doesn’t work with subdomains.
Subsequent question asking the plan to support received no more response.First, the error message is meaningless an indication of bad UX.
Secondly, it feels like we have to beg for support really bad sign
Finally, since we cannot use it and there’s no response or documentation mentioning “subdomain”, we have no choice but to give it 1 star as paid users.April 12, 2025Verified Review -
Great Product
I’ve been using Rankchase for my website IOKPRINT (www.iokprint.in), and it’s been a game changer. The platform offers a wide range of easy to use tools that have really helped improve my site.

How many websites in your database right now?
How do you track links being removed from partner sites?
At the moment we have around 400 websites in our database. At the moment we are not tracking links. Users would need to keep an eye on those links themselves. However, it can be something to be added to our roadmap. thanks for your question
We’re building a database of websites primarily focused on SaaS, marketing, and digital businesses to keep it highly relevant to this niche. The list is growing by 10-15 websites per day. Our platform continuously scans the database for relevant matches, so you can expect several new link exchange opportunities each week.
I would love to get some clarity on where things are headed in regards to the roadmap. Right now I’m seeing almost zero functionality in the product. I see no way to set email address for notification on link requests. No option to add a pitch, details about our company, adjust tags/filtering on opportunities. No option to do anything really. There isn’t even documentation on just how the most basic functionality works like receiving notifications.
Hey Matthew, thanks for your question!
Just to clarify, our main goal is to create a user-friendly product that makes it easier to acquire backlinks and brand mentions through meaningful partnerships within your niche. We aim to eliminate the hours spent searching for partners and the cold emailing that typically yields low conversion rates.
Rankchase is similar to Tinder, but for link exchanges. We match you with websites in your niche that are open to exchanging links. You’ll have access to all your matches directly from your dashboard. Each week, you’ll receive new matches to keep your networking opportunities fresh.
When you initiate a link exchange from your dashboard (by clicking “Request Link Exchange”), the partner receives an email request with details of your website and your email CC’d. This allows them to reply directly to you to discuss the terms of the exchange.
Regarding the features you’ve requested:
– The ability to set a notification email different from your account email
– The option to add your own message or pitch (which is already on our roadmap)
These are excellent suggestions that totally make sense, and we plan to add them in the near future.
Will you not focus on other niches besides digital?
Hey Tom, as our database expands, we anticipate diversifying the niches. However, for now, we’re concentrating on SaaS, startups, business, marketing, and digital sectors to ensure the community remains as relevant as possible for everyone involved.
Can I change (or delete/re-add) the website domain? I currently have 1 domain, but might want to switch the focus of SEO to another domain in the future.
Hey Frank, thanks for your question! Once the LTD has been applied, it’s not possible to change the domain. We recommend going for Tier 2, which includes 10 domains, so you can add more sites in the future.
Hi Joaõ,
Okay, but if I have slots for 10 sites, can I remove existing ones to add new ones instead in the future? Maybe new clients replace old ones.
Good question.
Can I give the team access to each project (domain) they own?
Hey Botolan, we do not have the option to add multiple seats. For this case you’d need to share credentials for now. Thanks for the question.
If I get the agency plan, I would want to be able to remove old clients domains and add new ones for new clients. Is this possible?
Hey Brando, once the domains are locked in, they can’t be changed.
That said, with Tier 3 you’ll be able to add up to 50 domains, which means you can find unlimited link exchange partners for each client you work with, for life, at just $6 per domain.
Is this only for link exchange? Or we can buy backlinks too? Isn’t link exchange highly risky for SEO? As Google can easily detect we are doing link exchange..
Hey! We’ve never come across a case where a website was penalized for doing meaningful link exchanges with relevant partners in their industry.
That said, I wouldn’t recommend exchanging links blindly with everyone or using link farms to build backlinks.
The goal of Rankchase is to build a community of legit builders with quality websites, willing to exchange links and brand mentions with each other in a resonable relevant way.
I’d suggest checking out our blog where we dive into this topic in more detail. 😉
Do you also have German Link Partner in your database? And if yes, how many?
