Got a Question? Ask here.
How does this product compare with typical review apps for Shopify like Stamped or Judge.me? What features and capabilities do they have that this doesn’t? Also, does this integrate with Klaviyo to enable profile updates and triggered automations based on reviews left? I saw you have a lot of integrations via Zapier, but this is for a small company that doesn’t subscribe to Zapier and isn’t tech savvy, so wondering if there is a turnkey integration.
Hi Dana Doron,
Thanks for the great question!
Traditional Shopify review apps like Stamped or Judge.me are primarily built around collecting text reviews, star ratings, and sometimes photo submissions. They do a solid job at that, but they’re all fairly similar — lots of focus on star ratings, long lists of reviews, and structured review widgets.
GridApps Testimonials takes a very different approach and gives you capabilities that review apps don’t:
1. Instead of just another ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating, you get authentic video testimonials that actually build trust and convert far better.
2. You can use engaging reward mechanics like scratch cards and spin wheels to motivate customers — something no traditional review app provides.
3. Our templates and widgets are designed for storytelling and brand presentation, not just for collecting as many text reviews as possible.
4. Every plan supports high-quality video exports (up to 1080p, with 4K on enterprise), so you can reuse your testimonials across your website, ads, and social media — not just keep them locked inside Shopify product pages.
When it comes to integrations, you’re right — review apps like Stamped and Judge.me have been around for years, so they’ve built a lot of native connectors (including Klaviyo). Today, GridApps Testimonials doesn’t yet have a direct Klaviyo integration. Instead, we integrate through Zapier, which opens up connections to Klaviyo and hundreds of other apps. For small businesses that don’t want Zapier, we’re already exploring Pabbly native integrations, and we will take Klaviyo on the roadmap.

Today, GridApps Testimonials doesn’t yet have a direct Klaviyo integration. Instead, we connect through Zapier — and we’re also actively discussing **Pabbly as an alternative** for teams that prefer it.
We know **native integrations are important**, and we will eventually get there — prioritizing them based on customer needs. In fact, we’ve already added **Slack native integration** and **Shopify Integration** to our roadmap (currently under discussion), and we’re open to suggestions for other turnkey integrations that matter most to you.
I assumed you had Shopify integration since I saw Shopify mentioned on your help documentation with instructions for the plug-in. But now I see that Shopify integration is on your roadmap. Can you clarify what the future integration will do that is not available now? And when that will be available?
For our initial Shopify integration, we’re focusing on the essentials: allowing merchants to collect reviews seamlessly through embeddable forms and display them with customizable widgets on their storefronts. This ensures you can start gathering and showcasing authentic customer feedback right away. Over time, as more users share their needs, we’ll expand the integration to cover advanced features such as automated review requests, richer analytics, and deeper Shopify-specific workflows. Our goal is to build out functionality based on real user demand, so we prioritize the features that matter most to you. We are currently prioritizing features based on user requests. The original timeline for starting Shopify integration is targeted around mid to late November. This may be early or moved for later on based on the priority items on the pipeline.Hope this answers your question.
Hello,
What is the video testimonials length for each tier ? tier 2 = 4 min and tier 3 = 8 min ?
Same question for the video quality ? 1080p for tier 2 and 1440p for tier 3 (according to your pricing table) ?
And also for the pro templates (videos & widgets), is it also advanced for tier 2 ?
Could you please also clarify the rewards : scratch & spin wheel ?
Thanks 🙂
Hello Rod Paris, thanks for the questions! Here’s a clear breakdown of the plans:
📊 Plan Comparison
🎥 Video Testimonials (Length)
Tier 1: Up to 5 minutes
Tier 2: Up to 5 minutes
Tier 3: Up to 5 minutes
Enterprise: Up to 8 minutes
📹 Video Quality (Exports)

Tier 3: Advanced + Pro
Enterprise: All templates
🎁 Rewards (Scratch & Spin Wheel)
With GridApps Testimonials, you can add a fun reward layer to your testimonial forms:
Scratch Card & Spin Wheel campaigns can be enabled for any form.
When a customer completes the testimonial form, they immediately get a chance to scratch or spin.
You can configure these rewards to reveal coupon codes — e.g. 10% off, free shipping, or any custom code you’ve set up in Shopify (or your store platform).
This creates a gamified experience that motivates customers to share testimonials while also boosting repeat purchases.

Thanks for this detailed reply 🙂
So, tier 2 Growth and tier 3 Business on RocketHub have similar features (except limitations on workspaces, users, storage, AI, etc.)
Yes, you are right — Growth (Tier 2) and Business (Tier 3) include the same core features. The difference is mainly in scale — Business offers higher limits on workspaces, users, storage, and AI/video credits.
Since I have been waiting in vain for a response to a question I asked via the chat widget on your website for two days, I am now trying here.
A Deal at Appsumo called „RateMyService“ allows a thumbs up/down icon to be embedded in email signature to send clients to a review form… Does Gridapps have this functionality too?
Also how does Gridapps handle negative client reviews…is there a way to let it only get shown internally and not posted on any review sites?
I would also like to see a localized user interface of Gridapps in German. It would be nice if an ETA were added to your roadmap …
Hi Dennis,
Sorry for the delay, there was an issue with the chat widget config, hence missed your chat.
Thanks for taking the time to share your detailed feedback and questions — it’s much appreciated. Let me address them one by one:
Email signature reviews: At the moment, GridApps doesn’t have a direct “thumbs up/down in signature” feature like RateMyService. However, it’s a smart use case and we’ll definitely consider adding it to our roadmap as a lightweight entry point for customer feedback.
Handling negative reviews: Yes, you have full moderation control. All testimonials — positive or negative — come through your dashboard first. You decide what to approve and publish, and what stays internal. Nothing goes live automatically. We actually see negative reviews as valuable for internal improvement. On top of that, our Insights tab can summarize all testimonials (both positive and negative) to help you clearly understand customer sentiment and spot recurring issues.
German interface & localization: Your customers can already submit testimonials in German. You can also:
Auto-translate testimonials collected via forms into German.
Translate multiple testimonials inside your dashboard.
Share them in different formats like Wall of Love, widgets, and Studio outputs.
Localization is on our roadmap, and we’ll prioritize it based on user demand — German is one of the first we’re considering, with regards to timeline for this, we will check within our team provide you an update after prioritising.
Your feedback is invaluable, and we’re committed to building GridApps as a long-term, customer-first platform. We’re also open to feature and integration suggestions — what matters most to you will shape our roadmap.
Best regards,
Arun & Saravanan

Hi [Name],
Thanks for following up here and apologies for the delay on the chat widget — we’ll make sure our response times improve going forward. Let me answer your questions one by one:
Email signature reviews: At the moment, GridApps doesn’t yet have a direct “thumbs up/down in signature” feature like RateMyService. That said, it’s a smart use case and we’ve added it to our roadmap as a potential lightweight way for customers to leave feedback.
Handling negative reviews: You have full moderation control. All testimonials — positive or negative — come through your dashboard first. You decide what to approve and publish, and what stays internal. Nothing goes live automatically. We also provide an Insights tab that summarizes both positive and negative testimonials so you can use negative feedback constructively without ever having to display it publicly.
Custom domains (Tier 3 – RH Agency): Each workspace includes one custom domain. Since Tier 3 comes with 20 workspaces, that means you can have 20 custom domains in total.
German localization: Localization is on our roadmap, and we’ll prioritize it based on user demand — German is one of the first we’re considering, with regards to timeline for this, we will check within our team provide you an update after prioritising.
We truly appreciate your patience and feedback — it helps us improve.
Best regards,
Arun & Saravanan
If we want to transfer all text and video reviews to another platform down the road, how difficult is it to do that and maintain all the data (e.g., actual date posted, review source, etc.) so that they show up properly in another platform like Stamped.io or Judge.me? Can all the data be saved periodically to ensure it won’t be lost if GridApps folds some day?
We currently provide an API as the only solution to export your data. This allows you to back up or move your text and video reviews, including dates and metadata, to other platforms if you ever decide to transition away from GridApps. We will also consider adding a CSV export option in the future if it’s requested by many customers. While we’re fully committed to building GridApps for the long term, these options ensure your data remains safe and portable under any circumstance.
Is the 100gb storage split between the 5 workspaces in Tier 2? If so, that would be maybe 200 videos (assuming they are about 1.5-2 minutes each) per workspace (or client in my case). What happens if you hit that limit? Are you unable to accept any more video testimonials?
The 100GB storage is shared across all 5 workspaces in Tier 2, not split per workspace. If you reach the storage limit, we won’t stop your usage immediately. Instead, we’ll provide a grace buffer of around 10% or 20% (yet to decide) while notifying you that you’ve exceeded your limit. This gives you time to either clear up space or upgrade before any restriction is applied.
Please add API access to the Tier 3 – RH Agency Deal,
Hi Dennis,
Can you please try it now. API key creation should work now.
This deal looks quite interesting! 🙂
Since I live in Germany, it is very important for me: Are you fully GDPR compliant?
Thanks for your interest! We’re not fully GDPR compliant yet, but it’s on our roadmap and we’re planning to complete it by the end of Q1 of 2026. We’ll keep users updated as we make progress.
Is there options for change the UI (appearance) as in different way it could appear on your website?
Apologies for the delay, yes you can customise most of the UI to your needs. And if needed we will add the functionalities if missing upon priority and roadmap.
how many websites can i use this for?
Each workspace essentially means another website. So just buy the tier that corresponds to the number of sites you need.
does tier 3 have Auto-translation(5 Languages)?
Yes @cesar!! It does have auto-translation.
Tier 1 is locked for 1 website only? What if i abandoned or flip the website or close that project. Swap, delete and use new website is possible in tier 1?
And deleting a website and adding another means deleted widgets from the deleted website?
You can switch out the site if you abandon it. Just remove old site and its data, and connect new site. That’s fine.
Removing old website means all the widgets and changes this SaaS made to the old website will be removed?
And removing the old website means all the widgets and data this SaaS created and made to our old website will be removed as well?
Do you have an API? Which tiers is it available for?
