Love DictationDaddy!
I bought a lot of Lifetime Deals, and by a lot I mean A LOT! Dictation Daddy is the one I use daily. Rahul is very active and responds very quick. I had a small issue after one of the updates, sent feedback, and next day it was solved.
I just hope that this product will work for many years. I know that with AI developments many software just cease to exist, I hope Rahul will continue to develop and maintain it.
Definitely happy with this purchase and it already saved good amount of my time communicating with AIs on my projects.May 27, 2026 -
Absolutely Beautiful Dictation Software. Fairly Advanced.
I’m a Doctor and I have used a lot of apps for dictation. This is by far the best app rivalling the quality of Dragon Medical. Very fast and very accurate. And the android app is a beast too. Very nicely done and worth every penny I have paid.
And the developer is super friendly and approachable. In total it’s a steal at this price point.March 21, 2026Verified Review -
That's fantastic—it's really changed the way I work!
I didn’t think a tool like this could be so useful. It has truly revolutionized the way I work; now it’s become absolutely indispensable!!!
The functionality and settings are flawless. The support is excellent. I got a little confused with the trial using a different email address, and they resolved it immediately.
Plus, it has very generous limits, and Bioc is available right from the first tier. This is truly something unique!
I wrote this review in just a few seconds because I used this tool’s voice dictation feature. I don’t know how I managed without it before😂March 19, 2026

Got a Question? Ask here.
I have two questions:
If I run it on my Mac and iPhone, are these counted as two users or just as one?
In Tier 2, is the 500k per user or for all 5 accounts together? Since the price is 2.5 times higher, I assume it’s for each user, otherwise it would only be 100k per user. Is that correct?
Thank you for clarifying.
Thanks for your question, Jutee!
Question 1: You’ll be counted as a single user regardless of how many devices you use — Mac, iPhone, or both. As long as you’re using the same email/account, it’s one seat.
Question 2: Great question. The 500k characters is the total pool shared across all 5 seats. The value proposition of Tier 2 is that you’re getting 5 seats at roughly 2.5x the cost of a single seat — so you’re essentially paying half price per person. It’s designed for small teams or firms where multiple people need access.
Hope that helps — happy to answer anything else!
Hi, Do we get any included words included or do we need an API key to use?
Hi Jake,
Thanks for your question. We provide you with generous free tier limits of 300,000 words but on top of that if you use that, you also have the option to bring your own key.
Monthly limit

Any plans for Linux
No plan for Linux, but if you are a developer, I can give you code access so you can try to compile it on Linux.
any option for HIPPA compliance for LTD users?
Currently there is no plan for HIPAA compliance for LTT users. But if there are a lot of people interested, I can plan for it. How many licenses do you need?
I’m considering using this tool for typing as a student. Since AI flagging is a concern, I’m curious about how it handles this issue. I plan to use it with Google Docs and Grammarly as backups to demonstrate I am not plagiarizing. Does Dictation Daddy copy and paste text, or does it have an option to have text typed out if needed? I ask because plagiarism tools like Grammarly or Turnitin detect copy/paste, but they don’t flag keystrokes, even if typing is very fast.
Currently, it only does copy-paste. It doesn’t simulate typing.
Your product description and privacy policy state very explicitly that “We do not store any audio recordings. Your voice data is sent to our transcription service, converted to text, and immediately discarded. We never retain, share, or sell your audio data.”
but then right after that it says under the section “how we use your informationt” that it’s to “improve transcription accuracy and features”. Please elaborate on what this means. Either you use our data to train or you don’t.
Josh, there is a private mode. When you go to the Settings, you can scroll down or toggle the button. It says, “Do you want to improve the accuracy or not?” If you toggle it off, none of your data is stored or used for training.

Does the transcription of uploaded files diarize speakers? Also, does the dictation of audio preserve a local copy of the recording? I know you say you delete the uploaded audio, and that’s great, but can I preserve my original audio recording LOCALLY if I choose to or is it also discarded?
No, we don’t use speaker diarization. The local copy is only preserved if the transcription failed and you can retry it. But after the transcription is successful, the local copy is deleted. And your audio is never stored on our servers.
Is it possible to add as a feature that we have an option to save our audio locally?
yes this can be done.
