I have used Synsthesia before and very happy to know about Elai.io. It works as I expected but there is no access to API yet, Sasha – the product manager has told me that API will be available for all Rockethub plans but there is no information about when it will be available.
I fully stacked this software due to its incredible promise for the future. Innovative technology that already works like a charm and many languages to choose from. I would like several more voice models to be added and I am sure they will and lip synching is honestly pretty off but it is to be expected from a product that is just taking it’s first step in development. I think this company and their products will be a really fantastic tool in the stack for anyone looking to make really good looking and very customizable presentations for any type of-use case.
Thank you to the rockethub team for bringing us this deal. I don’t think people realize the quality of this product really and how expensive similar solutions are, a true enterprise gem at ridiculously low prices in comparison to competitors in this deal.
Highly recommended and with some polishing it will be perfect and a tool I will use a lot to make all kinds of videos for the tool is incredibly versatile.
Great product, based on the offered features much better than yepic, very complete video editor with images, texts, animations, backgrounds, music, and the most important finding for me: unbeatable collection of voices. From a native Spanish speaker perspective, it is difficult to find actual good voices for different Latin American accents (most of the products force us to use Mexican voices), but with Elai I now have fantastic Chilean and Colombian voices.
The only thing I regret: slow render is followed by a kind of [human?] video content verification, so you cannot watch your video before all that is finished.
So I came in with no real expectations. I mean F Putin and go Ukraine but I dont put out any video because I cant edit and have not found the time to learn.
Well it turns out Elai is easy af to use. if you can type you can make an Elai video.
So now I will be having my fake ai people do videos. And no, I have not wrapped my head around fake ai people yet.
Pick up a code or 10, it is so simple to make videos that you will be able to find a use for it even if you dont do video.
Even though the lip-sycronisation is not perfect yet, I have a lot of hope in this product. The user interface is intuitive to use. Multiple slides with different avatars can be generated. Microsoft Azure is used for the text to speech. Anyway, the deal is more than fair and I haven’t regretted it so far.

Are you working to improve the quality of the lip sync? I noticed some of the avatars the lip sync is not as good. Also does the lip sync improve if we upload our own voice over?

If you Add Premium Templates to Tier 1, Many users like me will buy this. Credits are also low, however unused credit rollover is useful and may be fine for many like us who used for own business

That jump from 1 tier to 2 for premium templates is steep. If you added premium templates on tier 1,this would be an easy purchase.

Hi Florian – Up above in the comments – Alex (founder of Elai) – commented that in such case, the account owner will need to upgrade. They have some enterprise clients that use a lot more minutes so you can talk to their support@elai.io to discuss options.
Suggestions that would improve things… a preview mode that lets the creator double check and improve the scripting/video before commiting to a final render. No human verification of renders as this makes the editing process for the end user very clunky. You can’t really scale the business with human verification. You could perhaps instead have a code that flags negative or political words. Similarly if someone has used the site for two months maybe they no longer need verifying per render?
Hey Alan, we recently released AI-based moderation which dramatically increases render/verification time. Now we check only flagged (suspicious) videos, so most videos go straight to render.
