Thank you for coming to our project page! Here's the deal - we need to raise a little bit of money from lots of people. It's called "crowdfunding" and is a new, easy and incredibly effective way to support creative endeavors.
Madera Vox (oboe, bassoon, piano, percussion & voice) has been invited to perform at the International Double Reed Society convention in Tempe, AZ. This is a HUGE honor, but as these things go, does not pay.
This is a great opportunity for our group to showcase our work in a high profile, academic setting - especially for Nicole (oboe) and Cornelia (bassoon), our double-reed duo.
The really cool thing is that the music MV plays will absolutely rock the double-reed world. This also may be our only chance to attend this conference.
Funds will go towards the registration fee @ $300 each, airfare, lodging, ground transportation... and probably a bunch of new reeds.
Funders @ $25 or more will get a copy of our self-titled debut cd, and there are opportunities for a lot of other unique, MV-style rewards based on the level of giving.
