***** THE PROJECT
We are incredibly excited that our musical Meet John Doe is being produced by Porchlight Music Theatre in Chicago! It is already cast and in rehearsals and we know it is going to be tremendous.
Andrew is writing brand new orchestrations for this production and they are going to be HOT! He has decided to add a bass part to the mix to give it just the right sound and we need your help!
We need your help to raise funds to hire one more instrumentalist for the production. Porchlight has been completely wonderful, but the extra player was not in their original budget, so we said "We`ll find the cash!" That`s where all of you come in.
***** THE NEED
So the long and short of it is that we need to pay a bass player for the rehearsals and run of this production. The cost of the player will be about $1,250. Our $1,500 goal, less RocketHub's 8% fee gets us just over that amount.
Anything we raise above the bass player's salary will go toward flying Andrew in from New York and buying food and beverages for the cast, crew and band after opening night!!!
