I just contributed $100 to help get this project off the ground. I am very much interested in the Android possibility for ExEn! One thing that I would like to suggest and perhaps help with, would be the creation of a set of ExEn tools to help aid in ExEn/XNA content creation.

Hello Andrew, Well it would be nice to have some tools to help with designing 2D layouts, perhaps exporting to an XML file format. Something to help with placing sprites on the screen in a visual manner. I hope your project is successful!

I'm afraid something like that is well outside the scope of this project. I'm not sure how useful it would be for gameplay, with everything moving about. But for UIs I can see it coming in very handy. I think a tool like this actually exists, but I cannot think of the name of it right now.

I'm 100% behind this project and very much hope we get to $12,000 so we can have Mac OS too! Upvote it on reddit redd.it/ey62p

Great project and fueled it already! I can understand the purpose and benefits of this project very well as I myself did a small internal port of Cocos2D to Xna in order to ease the port of our iOS games to Windows platform. I'm especially interested in Silverlight port as we want to release public playable versions of our games on web and it'll be very interesting to see how Cocos2D->Xna->Silverlight will work out on our side :).

Hi Andrew, looks like it's a very popular project, congrats! I'm thinking about building a small high-performance charting library for Silverlight (all existing ones are terribly slow once you have 5,000+ primitives on a screen) and I'm evaluating my options for the rendering part. Does ExEn provide good support for drawing primitives such as lines, ellipses, polygons etc? Is there anti-aliasing support? I would gladly contribute to the project if it fits my purposes well :) Also, are you going to take advantage of the XNA hardware acceleration that Silverlight 5 provides?

Hi Andrew. I'm afraid ExEn is optimised for sprite drawing, and probably isn't directly usable for your project. It is hardware accelerated, but uses Silverlight 3.

What is the likelihood that you will target linux+mono in the future?

Hey Andrew! Thats a great project! I would like to ask a question... I have developed some XNA Libraries which loads custom content (XML-based Files) using the XNA Pipeline to generate the XNB files. Then I read them using custom XNA ContentReaders. I know ExEn has not implemented Content Pipeline stuff, but if I add the compiled XNB files to a(an) Android/iOS/Silverlight project, will I be able to load them using my custom ContentReaders, using Content.Load("my_custom_asset")?
