Fitted Shards is a quartet of some of the most-creative musical voices from Chicago and New York City. About three years ago, Greg Ward assembled Rob Clearfield (Loom, Information Super Highway), Jeff Greene (blink.), and Quin Kirchner (Nomo), to explore and to perform his latest compositions. In 2008, Fitted Shards recorded Ward's first record as a leader, South Side Story.
By May of 2009, all of the music production had been completed. Fortunately, South Side Story will be released by 19-8 Records, which will administer the physical and digital distribution of the recording. One element that 19-8 Records will not provide, which is vital for the success of any recording project, is a budget for the promotion of the record. Ward has teamed up with RocketHub, an amazing organization that assists artist with building crowd-funding campaigns, to raise $3000 for the publicity of the South Side Story. Fitted Shards needs your support. This campaign has two months to reach it's goal and if the amount is not met, all of your contributions are returned.
