Life After Lisa is a web series based in the 1980s. It's based on a script that Elena Moscatt wrote while growing up in the 1980s. In 2008 she divided it into webisodes, casted, and filmed two webisodes.
It was part of the first group of web series to join the Writer's Union as a union show. There was an article written about the production in the Baltimore sun (Click On This for article), and it received an "Honorable Mention" in the Baltimore Women's Film Festival. The script also came in the top five for the Baltimore Screenwriter's Competition in 2008.
Life After Lisa is about college life in the mid 1980s. Jessie Beaumont moves into her dorm and finds out that the girl who used to live there died in a car accident the previous spring. She gets to know more about Lisa thru her friends, and puts together a documentary about her. It's about love, poetry friendships and life before technology took over.
