Hello!

My name is dariusofwest and I'm one of the creators for the Halo machinima, Hog Derby: Duels. This is an ongoing machinima series made with the Halo game engine as a base to tell our orginial story. With it's pilot episode orginially airing on Machinima.com in 2009, my crew and I have continued to work on futures episodes for the show. It takes some elements from 90s anime and Western Cartoons and parodies while telling it's own story as an action-comedy machinima. It is cheesy with it's basic plot concept, but it is meant to be taken tounge-in-cheek most times. It tells the story of 6 teenagers, with Ice, Dos and Jack on the red team and Sodagod, Wiz and Tenacious on the blue team going through misadventures, adventures and later, coming-of-age story on the Halo ringworld after a car joyride from the Marines base goes wrong.

In my role as one of it's creators, former head writer, and currently, it's director, script editor and music composer, I have tried my very best to make this an enjoyable show for anyone, of any age to enjoy it. The show will have about 30 episodes in total with 15 episodes that will for sure be completed, along with some specials on the way. 4 episodes of the series have been produced by my group, Hog Derby Productions and have aired on Machinima.com's youtube channel since March 1st, 2009. This is the 2nd year of production for the show and I would really like to increase the quality of the production which is why I came here. With the money I would like to do the following:

1. Purchase a new computer so I could eventually film some of the new episodes of the series myself and decrease production time. 2. Give the music for the series, an actual budget that I could work with, so I can use more live players on the score and buy some new virtual instruments to work with. Not too sure what'd I'd do if this went over it's budget amount. I set this budget amount purposefully low, because as it is a machinima, there is not as much as money needed as it would for a normal live action type film. Also, because even just another $10 would help out the show out alot because I can use whatever is raised here to supplement some of my own money saved up for the project.
