Over the past year (or seven years if you count from the initial idea) I have been working on a plan to open my own restaurant in Downtown Los Angeles. Not just any restaurant, but a novel idea, not yet capitalized upon. I have great people mentoring me including names from some of the top restaurants in LA and Las Vegas.

I am reaching out to share, as well as to see if you would like to add your name to our team.  More than anything, I want this business to be a collaboration of great minds. I believe that hospitality is transformative. This is my life's goal. With your help I can make it happen! I just need a little help to get it off the ground!

I just recieved my first big break, winning a competition by EMINUTES - and being selected to recieve a free company formation. They paid the filing fees, and formed my LLC for free- Now the ball is really rolling!

I have family and friends that believe in me, and will be investing to make this dream a reality. The money I need today is to secure my location, hire an accountant and legal team, develop my website, and get everything ready to move forward. The total cost of the project is near $600,000, and with your help (and the $25,000 I am seeking today) I can raise it all!! In order to bring in investors, I must have the groundwork already prepared.

Runway will make headlines as the very first bar in Los Angeles to combine cocktails and nosh with modern fashion. Located within walking distance of the four major districts of Downtown Los Angeles; New Downtown, Historic Core, South Park and the Fashion District, Runway will revolutionize the way people look at the city and the dining industry as a whole.

I am going against the norm of creating a restaurant around a "Big Name" Chef. I want Runway to be a place where young chefs (and fashion designers) can make their name. I want to hire recent graduates from culinary schools, and give them a say, as well as the opportunity to share their own ideas, and put their own recipies on the menu. 

A chance rarely given to those starting out in the industry, Runway will allow a place for young chefs to build a reputation as well as the freedom to create. Working underneath a talented and skillful Head Kitchen Chef to monitor quality and taste, Runway will capture youth and passion in our cuisine. 

 I believe the younger generation has a wealth of untapped passion and inspiration - if only somone would let them share it. I was lucky enough that someone took a chance on me - at only 26 I am the Vice President of a wonderful Fashion Company Called Multeepurpose. 

The concept of Runway finds its origin from an inspired little family diner called Lakeside Chalet. Combining a relaxed dining experience with accessible eye candy, Runway will tempt customers with inspired fashion pieces adorning the walls. Art pieces will complete the look of contemporary style and elegance. Runway’s refined décor, accentuated by pieces from both established and up-and coming designers will give customers something entirely novel and unique. Although every piece will be for sale, the primary goal of the décor is to offer customers a glance at the next “big” idea in fashion and young designers, setting the stage for conversation and socializing.

Our female clientele will especially love becoming the center of attention in front of our “Step and Repeat” wall located in the entrance of the ladies room (Girls - you know you have plenty of pictures with friends in in the ladies room; the lighting is ALWAYS better than the Bar/Club!)  Allowing both advertising and self promotion, this wall will catapult Runway into the social scene via platforms such as Twitter, Foursquare, Facebook, and DailyBooth.

Designer showcase collections and flashing screens of runway shows will further enhance the ambiance.
