The 2012 CHA ARTS FOR THE ARTS FUNDRAISER, in conjunction with the 2012 ART FOR ART CONCERT, attempts to raise money for Cambria Heights Academy's arts program.
Cambria Heights Academy for New Literacies is a college-preparatory academy in Hollis, Queens that is dedicated to providing students with a well-rounded academic education including technology and the arts.
The problem is that there is very little state and city funding for the arts right now.
The goal of this Rockethub page is to help New York City public high school students participate in a rich and rewarding arts program provided by our Purelements' artists-in-residence (www.purelements.org) for the remainder of this school year.
