Howling Myth Media, LLC was formed in 2010 for the expressed purpose of telling inspirational tales through both print (graphic novels) and animation (TV special, TV series, feature). Our first graphic novel – Radar Rangers: The Parsnip Saga – is completed and available on Amazon.com. Ultimately, our goal is to produce the Radar Ranger story as an animated, feature-length film. We are also currently producing an animated series – Perception – which an be found on Blip.tv. This series will also be produced as a series of graphic novels, the first of which will be available toward the end of February, 2012.
We have two Christmas specials in the works, as well as two animated series – one being an alternative energy adventure show, and the other dealing with ocean/reef issues. These projects are meant for commercial and/or cable television, and as such, require an upgrade in our production software. Animate Pro by Toon Boom is the product we have our eye on. We are looking to raise $1,400 to cover the cost of the software, plus the cost of rewards, plus RocketHub's fee.
So, we enter the exciting world of crowdfunding – where instead of asking one source for a sizable sum of money, a company can ask many generous, enthusiastic sources for small sums of money.
