Those who came before is a Webseries based upon the Firefly universe.
Firefly was a revolutionary show that gained a very large cult following, with incredible writing, believable characters and great storylines.
My goal is to create 10 minute episodes of a series based upon the firefly world, in a time period that is set before the war with the Alliance, before the existence of the Browncoats.
My goal is to create a small 3-4 minute pilot/preview episode with which to get started. Sadly, not many people like working for free, and I can't afford to fund this myself.
The money I am asking for will be used to pay for props, costumes, sets and small CG effects. We will use this money to create the pilot episode and use that episode in order to fund a future project.
This is a large undertaking, and I am not taking this lightly, I have a dedicated team that will ensure that Joss Whedon's writing and feel will remain within this work.
This project is not for profit, any funds raised above the asked amount will be used for the project, none of it will be kept.
