Happy Holidays,
My name is Jesse Lee. My goal is to create a real piece of art, something I can hand to someone and they get the sense that I took the time to create something great. You see, I’ve always wanted to record an “real album”, a quality recording, with a great group of musicians, to help bring my songs to life.
Yeah, I have made “recordings” in the past. Early on, I sat in front of an expensive mic in a Radio DJs home and played my heart out to that microphone. A few years later, after winning 10 hours of studio time in a city-wide open mic competition in Wichita, KS, a percussion player and I laid down 10 tracks. But now, many years later, I’m ready to make that “true” album, that I can be proud of and potentially get some recognition for.
So, I have chosen Rockethub.com as my forum, to help fulfill my lifelong dream.The greatest thing about Rockethub, is that it isn’t charity, it is a chance for you to become a part of the creative process and in return, get some cool rewards from me. In exchange for your generosity, I have come up with some creative ways to give you something in return. So, its a trade.
The funding will be used to pay a sound engineer, hire musicians, someone to mix/master the album, the artist for the album art and help pay for the reproduction of the CDs. My hope is, the rewards and the final product will inspire you to give big!
So, I have been practicing daily, honing my craft, selecting the perfect songs from my catalogue to make a great record. I have the passion, the desire and the creative drive to make a wonderful record and then share it with you. It means so much to me and hopefully it will become important to you as well.
