The Ink & Paint Club Burlesque Show is an hour long party, inspired by the Playboy After Dark television series from 1969; featuring cosplay, comedy, games, music, dance contests, discussion, and burlesque. We would encourage guests to dress up in fancy clothing, cosplay, or pajamas.
The performers of Ink & Paint have years of experience performing burlesque at cons and traditional burlesque shows in New York City. Unlike a traditional burlesque show in which the audience just watches a show for 2 hours this would be a chance to participate in the event itself.
We will use the funds to create new costumes and props, acquire equipment, and create a short film about our show. The short film will depict a fictional evening at our show and some of our headline routines.
