Hello!
We are responsible for creating the official short film adaptation of the Australian picture book 'There's a Hippopotamus on our Roof Eating Cake.' We are nostalgic about this great little book and wanted to make a wonderful short film for all those other fans out there who remember reading it, and judging by the 1,000,000+ copies sold, there are a lot of you out there.
So the film is shot, we are a month away from finishing post production and everything is looking incredible, we even had a massive Hippo built for the production that walks, talks and eats cake! The only thing is, we need some more money to actually get it done. We have managed to raise nearly $50,000 already but there is still $5,000 to pay for sound mixing and mastering. This will help bring the Hippo to life on screen!
