Helping Kids Make a Difference!

SK is a children’s clothing brand that embraces growing generations of globally-minded, eco-savvy kids (and their families). Our premium apparel collection is for boys and girls, sizes 2 -14. Our mission is to use our clothing brand to empower kids to make a positive difference as they grow up!

Our plan is to raise funding for raw materials for our Spring 2012 season – (in 2011 we produced only to-order, based on the sales we got ourselves) BUT for Spring ’12 we have a professional sales team in four regional US territories, selling orders for our line.  We do not yet qualify for traditional finance channels and need your help to achieve this is a very important growth step! Its critical that we make on-time delivery to prove our place in the children’s market.

Our brand is built on 3 elements. 1: Made in USA. 2: SK uses only certified, sustainable raw materials: organic cotton, hemp, recycled fibers and reclaimed scraps.  Low-toxicity dyes and lead and phthalate-free inks. For packaging: recycled hangtags, hemp string and recycled poly bags.  The real gem of our brand story?  SK’s mission is to empower kids to make a difference!  SK’s Gift that Gives Twice program includes a unique recycled box for kids to donate needed items to a partner school in Haiti.  International growth will form partnerships with schools in other countries as well. SK has plans to grow our company into a multi-category internationally-recognized brand. We have the experience to make it happen, we need your help to make it to the next growth stage!

By the way, RocketHub is not an investment or charity. It is an exchange: funds from fans for rewards from me. It's an All & More funding mechanism: if I don't reach my financial goal I get to keep what I raise. But if I do reach my goal, I get access to exciting opportunities."

Positively ambitious,

Maia Andersen & the Sustainable Kids team
