Jean Paul said “Berlin is rather a part of the world than a city” and after two centuries this sentence is not less true.
Every person who visited Berlin at least one time, surely had the same opinion of that German writer, and without any doubt they described this city to their friends more for the feelings they had way before the architecture beauties they saw. So, what we are doing now is trying to explain all these feelings not just with words but using your screens.
We are well organized and the project it's totally going on the right way but of course the production budget Outgoings are so many that we need a help from the Rockethub community to support us.
What we want to offer you is a real life inspired story of a group of friends from all over the world with something in common, that is not just sharing the same living place (Berlin) but also something special happening every day. They diary face every kind of emotions as happiness, hanger, envy, madness, real love, laziness, friendship and so on, but all this with a lot of humor and sarcasm, and of course with this amazing city on the background.
We will start producing the first season in the early 2012 for a total of 6-10 20 minutes episodes.
To have an idea of what we are working on consider that we are influenced from the 90's Independent American Cinema (Jim Jarmusch, Tom de Cillo, John Water, Todd Solondz etc etc).Some of our humor references are directly connected to great dierctors as Monthy Python and Mel Brooks and underground comic visionaries as Robert Crumb and Peter Bage. Of course these are Masters and we are just trying to be inspired in a humble way ;)
We want to come out with the pilot as soon as possible, so as we reach our budget we will start filming the first episode and in a short time you'll be able to watch it.
