This is my second attempt at crowd-funding to finish my album. News From The Queen Victoria. Going for a slightly less ambitious dollar amount this time, so the album might not br as grandiose as originally envisioned (sorry USC marching band), but I'm still confident I can deliver a quality product I can be proud of!
So once more, the album is called News From The Queen Victoria. Recording began in fall of 2007 and the bulk of recording was completed last September at Skyline Studios in Manhattan. A whole bunch of amazing & talented musicians contributed to my album - Emmett O Malley, Rob Calder, Tommy Deihl, Adrian Mordaunt, Saul Zonana, Dan Hickey, Colin Smith, Kim Ince, Jes Hudak & Nicole McKenna - Ringo Star doesn't have that many all-stars in his band.
All that's left now is mixing and mastering. Producer Saul Zonana, who has worked with the likes of Adrian Belew & Crash Test Dummies, will be putting all the finishing touches on the album at his studio in Nashville. With just a little help from you, I can finally have this album finished and out in the world!
