Hi there, and thanks for stopping by my RocketHub campaign!

My name is Diane, and I'm on here to raise the finishing funds for a short film called e.e., which was inspired by the life and poetry of e.e. cummings.

I wrote and directed the film about 2 1/2 years ago, while I was still a grad student at Northwestern University, and shot it with the help of a crew of over 15 people (and a 2-week-old infant!). *To see the full credits of the cast and crew, please check out the "Project Blog" tab for this project.*

We're all pretty excited about it - it's just that we've run out of the money to finish it. That's where you come in (we hope!).

If we were to raise the money for this campaign, we would be able to finish the film. That means we could:

1. Hire a professional to write the musical score for the film.

2. Hire another professional to play the musical score for the film.

And finally:

3. Hire an artist to design the titles for the film (the beginning and end credits).

If we were to reach our goal, we would also finally be able to give everyone on the cast and crew a copy of the film on DVD, as well as submit the film to festivals all over the world.

(And, if we were to surpass our goal, we might even be able to do a screening for the cast and crew in both Chicago and Los Angeles, where the majority of them live. But that's just crazy talk!)

Anyway, hopefully you like me - or someone in the cast, or on the crew - or even just e.e. cummings! - and want to help us out. (If you do, I'll give you a nifty gift...)
