Hello friends!
It's finally time for me, Jenny Ritter to record my first Solo Album! A year and a half after the disbanding of The Gruff, I've got so many new songs to share with you! And when I say "Solo", I'm not talking about playing alone. On this album, you'll be treated to the talents of a whole flock of amazing Canadian musicians, and the whole thing is going to be engineered and produced by the oh-so-wonderful Adrian Dolan of Malborough Studios. I am the luckiest girl in the world.
This is all going down in early 2012, and the release is slated for late in the Spring.
The way this Rockethub thing works is this (and I quote):
"1. RocketHub is not an investment or charity. It is an exchange: funds from fans for rewards from me.
2. It's an All & More funding mechanism: if I don't reach my financial goal I get to keep what I raise. But if I do reach my goal, I get access to exciting opportunities."
So, bascially, if you contribute to the making of this album, you'll get cool stuff, and I get to make an album, which you then get to have! ...You'll also be furthering my efforts to make Folk Music COOL and accessable.
