Building Bridges Worldwide (tax ID 27-0251087) Is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit org. committed to helping disadvantaged communities globally by bringing basic infrastructure through a network of volunteers.

Building Bridges members facilitate the planning, support and fund raising for a variety of service projects

Our Partner in Nepal

Experience Himalayan Nepal (EHN) –EHN is committed to effecting real change within Nepal by identifying and co-sponsoring service projects with like-minded organizations such as building bridges.  EHN built a reputation for creating high impact, exceptional volunteer experiences over the course of the past 10 years while maintain a low cost structure ensuring 95% of every dollar goes directly to the projects.

All members of both Building Bridges and EHN accept NO compensation for their work and each member self funds the expenses related to participating on the project including flights, accommodations, etc.  All building bridges volunteers are taking time out of their full time work in order be a part of this project and experience firsthand the impact a project such as this can have on a community.

Why: Nepal is among the least developed and poorest countries in the world facing development challenges due to the country’s inadequate infrastructure, lack of port access for trade, few tangible natural resources and a lack of a skilled workforce

What we are asking:  We are seeking up to $30,000, of which 66% has already been raised, to cover the expenses of the project.  All funds raised will go directly to the project, not a general fund and are tax deductible.  Please see the use of proceeds below:
