Best of Buffalo Benefit Album

About the Best of Buffalo Record

Best of Buffalo is a benefit album meant to capture the sound of the Buffalo music community and engage listeners and musicians. Production of this record will encourage growth of Buffalo’s music scene through charitable donations. The album will be comprised of 10 of the city’s best artists and bands, chosen by their fans and community supporters through voting submissions. Selected bands will work directly with Vergetone Productions at Buffalo’s world-class recording facility, GCR Audio to produce one song each, free of charge, to be included on the record. The finished recording will be distributed and promoted to current fans and new listeners throughout Western New York and New York City.

Funding and Donations

This album can't happen without your support! Our goal is set at $1500 to cover studio costs. Donations exceeding this goal and proceeds from the album will be donated to the Music is Art Foundation of Buffalo. Every year Music is Art works to raise awareness about the importance of local music by conducting instrument drives for educational music programs, fund raising events for music in schools, and holding annual events for local musicians including Battle of the Bands and The Music Is Art Festival. Donations to Music is Art from the Best of Buffalo record will help support the foundation’s mission in the arts.
