For those of you who have never heard of 'Randy Burns and The Sky Dog Band,' we had albums out on Mercury and Polydor Records during the 70s...great reviews in the Rolling Stone, NY Times, LA Times, Hollywood Reporter, LA Free Press, and just about everywhere. Casual onstage, we did everything from Rock, Country Rock, Folk, and a capella songs too...Think hard friends -- you'll remember us! Do you remember '17 Years On The River?' Of course you do. We were an off-shoot of the unrecorded New Haven group 'The Morning.'
This reunion will be an awful lot of fun for us and everyone involved...and speaking of being involved, your help will make this all happen. We will need to come together to pay for rehearsal space rentals, equipment and hotel accommodations for the band. We also have to pay for the rewards we are offering for your financial support.
You can see the reward levels on the side of the page. Of course, you can help out with any amount just because you always liked us and just want to help make this happen, we will send you a personal thanks. If you want to guarantee your admission to the Space, $50 gets you a ticket to either the Aug. 26th or 27th show. Larger support gets you something different, unique, or just plain silly. Probably silly. Yeah, I'd bet on silly. $100 will get you more things, and $150 and $200 gets you even more… and so it goes, with the more you can help us out with and afford at the moment, the more things we'll throw your way.
Yes indeed, those one time longhaired freaks will be out to get to you the way we used to...again. So please, become a part of reliving our music history with us - and for you.
