Tribeca 2009 festival winner HERE AND THERE is looking to start its North American theatrical run, in the city where it all began: New York.
We are using RocketHub to give our fans the power to Fuel the first seven days of showing in New York - including the Premiere on May 14th, 2010 at QUAD CINEMA. A successful first week will most likely give us another week in NYC and will recommend the film to the other art-house theaters across the USA/Canada. We want you to participate in bringing Here and There to the art-house theaters of America, after a whirlwind global tour.
The theatrical release of a truly independent movie like Here and There nowadays is a very daunting task. Our friend Ray from Cinema Purgatorio (art-house distributor) is investing his time and knowledge to help us bring this film to US theaters. However, without the following costs covered: advertisement and publicity, 35mm theatrical trailers, shipping of the prints, the art-house theaters can not take the film, no matter how much they like it.
In return for your Fuel, we are giving a few very cool rewards - including tickets to the NYC Premiere and regular shows, autographed copies of the DVD, and even the ability to have me make a short documentary film about you. There is much more to come as I will be posting regular blog updates on the project and will be answering any of your questions here.

Posle svetske turneje, pobednik festivala Trajbeka 09 i najpopularniji srpski fim u 2009. TAMO I OVDE započinje prikazivanje u američkim art bioskopima u gradu gde je sve počelo – Njujorku. Medjutim, bez pokrivenih troškova oglašavanja, bioskopskih trejlera na 35mm i sličnih reklama, art bioskopi ne mogu da preuzmu film, ma koliko im se dopadao.
