So my newest song, "Going Back" is in dire need of a studio version. Most people that see my shows now tell me how much they love that song, and are disappointed it is not on my latest album, "Ophelia."
So the plan is simple: record the definitive version of "Going Back" so people around the world can have their wounded hearts comforted, so lonely people around the globe know they're not alone. :)
The song is so incredibly near and dear to me, and needs its day in the sun. I plan on working with the best musicians in NYC to make this happen, and to really push the song for radio, for TV shows, advertising, etc.
So, I'm launching this campaign because I believe in the song, and I believe in what I'm doing! And I think people will support this! All of the money raised will go towards studio time, hiring of musicians, mixing, mastering, and then release. Any money over my goal will go towards promotion of the song for TV, Advertising, Radio, and beyond. If I raise enough beyond the goal, I may do a limited vinyl pressing of the single with some other tracks!
