Greetings Friends and Neighbors!
Thanks for visiting my Rockethub page. It means a lot that you've taken an interest in my project. And what is that project? Well, I'm glad you asked.
In June 2009, I recorded a new album of original songs called "A Year and Some Change," which chronicles the year (and some change) I lived in New York.
I worked with some exceptional Atlanta-based musicians who each added their own unique voices to these songs. Besides myself on guitar, banjo and a few other things, the line-up of musicians includes multi-instrumentalist, Matt Phillips (of Jackson County Line), fiddler Leah Calvert (of The Dappled Grays), and bassist Will Robertson, who also played a bunch of other instruments besides engineering and producing the album.
So, it's recorded. But you can't hear it until the album goes to the duplicator and copies are pressed. This is where your help as a Fueler comes in.
I am exceedingly proud of this album, in part because of its stylistic diversity. A lot of musical genres are covered in these tracks including country, blues, folk-rock and, of course, bluegrass. Not a fan of any of those? Then I'm sure you'll enjoy the barbershop quartet piece.
As a fueler, you're entitled to what I think is a bunch of cool stuff. You will be able to take full advantage of my interests and skills as a musician and a puppeteer.
Thanks for taking the time to look at my project.
