When I am not rapping about life under the sea or frolicking around the world (my two favorite pastimes) I am a Master’s student in the Ecology Program at San Diego State University. My primary research interests lie in the field of Marine Chemical Ecology, specifically on the topic of chemical cues that drive ecological interactions and how these interactions can be disrupted by human-derived contaminants. Beyond the confines of the lab, I am also highly interested in science communication and extending the broader impacts of my research to the general public using the outlets of film and social media.
