A Little About Me
My name is Christopher Thomas, I'm a 34 year old programmer living in barcelona.
Sometimes I just want to program, I feel it's my way to contribute and if I can't contribute something directly, because life gets in the way. But sometimes I have big ideas and dream of a world where politics and things which I feel get in the way are removed.
That somehow the idea that we can use this technology to make our lives better, to sidestep the bullshit of politics and favouritism. Is something that appeals to me a lot.
That might be idealistic and unrealistic, but it's the world I want to live in and the world I will try my hardest to help achieve.
I also feel that the internet is my playground, sometimes I use it to remind myself that I'm not old, my brain is as young as it wants to be, sometimes that comes off in childish humour, but I like that, it's a proof that I'm not old, I'm not dying and I refuse to acknowledge the rules of the world, that somehow I need or am required to act or behave in a conformist way, using somebody else's rules.
