His films simultaneously pay tribute to influential peers such as Joseph Losey, Ken Russell and Alexander Sukurov. His 2002 feature Reflections of Evil is currently available on the Koch/Go-Kart DVD label. Packard has six additional films currently distributed by Other Cinema DVD based in San Francisco.
