A Little About Me

I'm a 23-year old from Schenectady, NY, preparing for my trip to Israel. My favorite things are books, theater, good parties, and Tina Fey. 

For the past two years I have been living in New York and working for The Estee Lauder Companies, Clinique; where I got great experience in the corporate world and an addiction to skin care products. Before that I studied Creative Writing, Spanish and Portuguese at Penn. I'll be living at home for the summer saving up money for the trip and enjoying the fresh air.

In college I helped plan Take Back the Night, and for the past year I've been a member of the Junior Council at Safe Horizon - the US' largest victims agency. I've been inspired by my fellow members on the Junior Council and the Safe Horizon staff to take on a larger role in serving the communities I am a part of. I feel that it's time to try my hand at social work full time, and am very excited to do this in Tel Aviv.
