I love nature, science, poetry, music and making things by hand.
I first started making jewelry at nine years old when my father bought me an old toolbox full of jewelry supplies at a barn sale in upstate NY.
From there I went on to study jewelry making in art school both at the bachelors and the masters level. After college I worked in the field as for various designers and goldsmithing studios including the late Steven Kretchmer and Julius Cohen Jewelers on Madison Ave in NYC. I have shown my work internationally in exhibitions and fashion publications such as Vogue Gioiello.
At the beginning of 2010, I officially started my own jewelry business in upstate NY. So far I have been making mostly custom jewelry, but it is my dream to create my own handmade jewelry line.
I believe we are all born with gifts inherent to our being. (Gifts such as the gift of leadership, mentorship, teaching, singing, writing, healing, painting, athleticism, composing..the list goes on.) Over the years I have determined that whatever someone's gift is they need use it. For only when they do are they truly living whole.
