A Little About Me

I am a Master's Student in Cartography and GIS at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In addition to the amazing city in which I currently reside, my life is heavily influenced by the geographies and people of the Ohio River Valley, where I was born and raised, and the Lake Superior shoreline, where I spent the past ten years and feel most at home. I earned a B.S. in Outdoor Education and Biology Teaching from Northland College.

I dig maps. I also dig the natural sciences and teaching young people about them. I enjoy trail running and bicycling and possess the unfortunate talent of being able to fall asleep standing up after 9 PM.
