I am a geographer who studies how climate change affects farms and the lives of farmers. I have extensive on-the-ground work and research experience in West Africa, and want to start a new project in the U.S. I am currently a PhD student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My past includes work on farms in Alaska, Wisconsin, Oregon and West Africa as well as teaching in public schools.
I also help with other research projects. The top link on the following page is to a recently completed joint project called Land Tenure, Forest Governance and REDD+.
You can also see a couple of examples of general audience articles I have written on the role of the electrical grid and on how Peace Corps experience can be used to build community here at home.
