A Little About Me
My name is Amy Thissell and I will be starting my Masters program in the Geography Department at Penn State University this August. I graduated from UCLA in the spring of 2011 with a BA in Geography and I recently moved to State College, Pennsylvania where I have been working with the Center for Amazon Community Ecology. I am thrilled to be participating in the second round of the SciFund Challenge. I am hoping that this project and my first trip to the Amazon will be worked into my future Masters thesis.
