A Little About Me

My name is Brian Ross. I reside in Suffolk County, Long Island and commute approximately 2 hours each way to work on public transportation to Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I graduated from St. John the Baptist. D.H.S. in 1999. I attended Hofstra Universtity from 1999-2003 and graduated with a BS in Physical Education. My first teaching job was as a permanent substitute teacher and track coach at Bethpage High School from 2003-2005, when I obtained my current position in Williamburg Brooklyn. From 2005-2007 I went to Adelphi University part time at night to obtain my MA in Health Education. I absolutely love my job and my students. Having to travel 4 hours a day to work is always made worth while to see the looks on my students faces as they enter my gymnasium. Even through this devistating situation I found myself unexpectidly thrown into, and stress from daily harrassment and a large finanicail hardship I can still sleep at night knowing I did the right thing for my students. In my free time I enjoy working out, going for runs to raise money for good causes and going to the beach.
