A Little About Me

Hi! I'm Ryan Hamilton, and I'm an astronomy Ph.D. student at New Mexico State University. I was born in south eastern Pennsylvania, and I got my undergraduate degree in Astronomy & Astrophysics from Villanova University with minors in Physics and Mathematics in 2005. I started graduate school in 2006, and I'm in the home stretch this year finishing my work for a Ph.D.

I'm not just a scientist, I'm also an amateur film maker!  I've produced, edited, and co-written 5 short movies, and one of them was invited to the Imagine Science Film Festival in 2009!  I also enjoy experimenting with bread making, photography, and a healthy distraction by a video game.  Thanks for any support you're able to give!
