Harley O'Neill:

    I'm fully aware that I've got it better than many. I'm lucky enough to have had travel as a big part of my life for so long. I truly believe that the culture and perspective I've gained so far has made me who I am, and for that reason, I can't get enough of it. 

     So way back when I was but a little elementary student, my life was consumed of mainly dance, theatre, and karate. As you see, the arts has also had great importance in my life for quite some time. The Musical theatre gave me an open mind. The other two allowed me to compete in many places around the country; I was very comfortable with meeting new people and seeing new things. God then graced me with talent in photography, which alongside of dance, has been one of my greatest little pleasures in life. During this time my family had introduced me to my first big trip: Australia. Granted, we have family there. But no matter the reason; it's become a very special place to me. We've taken quite a few trips back since then. In between we've made ski trips to Canada and much of the United States. We've traveled our way to the Dominican, Mexico, and Europe as well. Regardless of the age, I believe it's inevitable that your way of thinking is changed when you return home from such a different place.

     To explore and discover the wonders God has created for us, to me, is irresistable. I desperately want to help others find the same fiery passion. I strongly believe that every last living creature on this earth-no matter what race, sexuality, or background- needs to be respected and cherished. There's so much to gain, and learn, and experience out of the incredible world of travel. I hope, one day, that I will persuade others to feel the same. 

Rachel Lewis:

   There are so many things that I would like to accomplish before I die; seemingly too many aspirations to possibly touch base on in one lifetime. But who’s to say I can’t do everything? Growing up in the same small town has limited my exploration and the number of new faces on the block. Art is a passion of mine and I’ve had my hands on pencils and paints my entire life. I have always longed to see the world. I have always longed to find the fascinating wonders that God has sprinkled throughout the world.

    Contrary to what many believe, this year away from school and loved ones is much more than a mere vacation. The whole planet is one big, major piece of art work. Learning, living, breathing, seeing, knowing, and physically experiencing God’s masterpiece is worth everything in my eyes. The people, the culture, the animals, the landmarks, the feelings, the memories, and the beauty of it all are amazing. And it's all out there to be stumbled upon; so I plan to do just that.
