Description

Hi and thanks for visiting!

I'm Karyn, single mother of 2 sons.  I've had the dream of opening my own little lingerie shop for about 4 years, but with the economic crisis I put it on the shelf to raise my boys and keep my head above water after leaving my abusive marriage.

As a survivor of domestic violence, this shop is important to me on many levels...personal success and also as a testimony to women that are making the brave first steps to leave their abusers that they are making the right decision. I plan to work with domestic violence shelters to donate matching bra and panty sets to women in transition to help their self esteem and make them feel pretty and pulled together as they begin a life free of abuse.

My dream is to create a store that takes the stress out of lingerie shopping and makes women feel empowered and not objectified or put up to some impossibly glorified sex machine ideal.  Where they feel respected and are not exposed to pornography.

Where women can find everyday or special occasion matching bras and panties that don't cost $50 (or more!) for a set because most of us can't afford La Perla prices. Where there isn't a table of messy loose panties that women have to pore over to find their size or so much merchandise in the shop they feel like they need a personal assistant just to find something, but they have to play hide and seek with store clerks to get help.  A store that sells lingerie outfits and accessories that don't make women feel like they're stuck in Victorian England or getting an outift to go work at a strip club because not all women (or their husbands) think dressing like a hooker or stripper is the epitome of sexy!

A place where women can actually get a proper bra fitting (most women have no idea they're wearing the wrong bra size!) and find help making their own lingerie style statement with affordable lacy and romantic lingerie outfits sold only in our shop that they might not have thought would look good on them, but do! And also that most women in Brooklyn won't be wearing since most shop at Victoria's Secret for their lingerie and are all wearing the same predictable things...(yawn!)

A shop where they'll find matching stockings and those glamorous and fun maribou feather boas and feather slippers that make women feel like a glamorous movie star from the 40's, and finish off their lingerie outfit perfectly. An outfit that will definitely get and hold their husband's attention so he'll notice the difference!

There are SO many good guys in the world and I'm hoping the number of men who fuel my rocket here will prove that not every guy likes his woman to look like she could be had for $20 or look like she should be sliding up and down a stripper pole. That there are plenty of men who appreciate romanticly provocative styles too!

Thanks for your time here and I can never thank you enough for whatever amount you contribute to help me launch this little lingerie store with a heart <3
