A Little About Me
I completed my PhD at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in La Jolla, CA in 2009. Currently, I am a postdoc in the Institute for Environmental Research at the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organization, outside Sydney Australia. This may seem a bit of a strange place for a marine ecologist to work, but I have access to world-class geochemical facilities, which I use to apply to questions relating to the effects of climate change on coral reefs.
My son Ryder was recently born on October 16; my aim is to help ensure that he and future children have the opportunity to live in a world where coral reefs still exist.
