I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department at Rice University in Houston, Texas, USA. You can find out about my research and read my papers at my website (links above). My research can be most broadly described as the study of species interactions. Within this broad umbrella, I study pollination biology and the interactions between ants and plants. I use other tools to get at a deeper understanding of species interactions. For example, I use meta-analysis tools to explore broad questions in species interactions. In addition, I ask questions about how evolutionary history influences species interactions, and the species traits that mediate interactions with other species.
