A Little About Me

Although I finished my degree in Biology in Havana (Cuba) in 2000, as a child I was interested in the study of the natural world, with a special interest in the wildlife of tropical forest canopies of my island. In 2001 I moved to Barcelona (Spain), and since 2003 I am a researcher associate at the Museum of Natural Science of Barcelona.

I have always been exploring and studying sites and complex ecosystems from the point of view of accessibility. Forest canopies, caves and cracks, walls and clifts constitute a hitherto little explored frontier and a reservoir of biodiversity unknown and very particular.
